Xaar

Collins formulates and manufactures Collins brand oil- and solvent-based inkjet inks for  use in Xaar® piezo printheads.  The printheads include Xaar XJ126, XJ128 and XJ500 and Spectra® Nova and Galaxy models. Collins is able to provide customized inks for these and other DOD printheads.

The oil-based black ink, designed for porous applications, is dark with good freeze/thaw performance.  Collins has many years of supply history with this type of ink and has the capability to produce spot colors.

Collins supplies a range of DOD solvent-based inks to perform with various application parameters.  Both general purpose (non-flammable) and faster drying (flammable) formulations are available.  In addition, spot colors are offered, along with an invisible UV readable ink.

These inks are supplied in 500 ml and 1 liter bottles.  However, larger quantity packs are available upon request.  Customer feedback on these inks has been very positive.
